Lighting no longer requires the infrastructure of 277V AC when installing state of the art low voltage PoE lighting capable of interfacing with emerging software control solutions.

Today, nearly all buildings are still constructed with legacy infrastructure designed for the high current loads of incandescent and fluorescent lights.
Platformatics lighting control solutions are built on a robust, scalable, and flexible infrastructure to allow growth as new application innovation in lighting, IoT, and building controls continues to emerge. The Platformatics’ system is intuitive allowing for quick modifications, additions, moves, changes, and simple software upgrades for future applications.

The system is comprised of light fixtures, intelligent Power over Ethernet (PoE) nodes, sensors, wall switches, area controllers, Ethernet switches and cloud based applications. The area controller acts as a security and provisioning gateway for the system. The architecture, including PoE light nodes, is modular to ensure that any LED light that supports the Platformatics power interface works on the system.

By using standards-based Ethernet switches that combine power and control into a single cable, Platformatics makes it easy for IT system integrators to converge lighting with existing IT devices – from access points to video surveillance cameras.
